Star Occulted By Moon

AAAP Occultation Planner for the Year 2005

AAAP'er John Holtz has written a computer program which will calculate the times and positions for occultations of stars by the moon. This form searches the output of that program for all events which match desired criteria. Before defining the time interval, minimum stellar magnitude, and minimum telescope aperture, review (and print out) the NOTES which John provides describing the headings and terms used.
  Month Day Universal Time
Starting Hours 00 Minutes 00 Seconds
Ending Hours 00 Minutes 00 Seconds

Limiting Magnitude

Telescope aperture limit

The times provided in the output will be based on observing from Wagman Observatory It is possible to correct the times for other observing locations within 200 miles or so of Wagman. The further away from Wagman, the less precise the correction. If you wish to use the A and B constants to calculate the event times for some other location, enter the longitude and latitude here:
Observer's Longitude Degrees Minutes Seconds (Longitude is assumed to be West, do not enter a negative number.)
Observer's Latitude Degrees Minutes Seconds
